A stroll through Copenhagen
This pleasant route, accessible by metro, will guide you through the city’s most iconic landmarks. Along this route, you’ll have the chance to explore exceptional and completely free sites, such as the Copenhagen Botanical Garden,the famous picturesque harbour of Nyhavn, the unmissable Little Mermaid statue,the Copenhagen Citadel (Kastellet),the monumental Gefion Fountain andthe majestic Marble Church (Marmorkirken).
Tour of Hindsgavl Deer Park
This circular route is the medium-length route among the three official trails offered on the Hindsgavl peninsula, in the heart of Lillebælt Nature Park. The route runs along the wild north coast, where you can see the two Little Belt bridges, and crosses the historic grounds of Hindsgavl Castle. Its main feature is that half the route is within the wildlife park enclosure and half outside it, offering a wonderful combination of architectural heritage and the chance to observe the park’s large deer.
Tour of Roskilde to the fjord.
Starting from Roskilde station, this walk will allow you to see the town’s main sights whilst strolling through the forest.
You’ll pass by the magnificent Roskilde Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The walk will then take you to the Viking Museum (where you can see magnificent Viking ship prows).
Afterwards, we’ll venture off the beaten track, following the fjord and heading deep into the forest.
Along the way, a hiking shelter will provide a pleasant spot for a lunch break.
Circular around Jels
A pleasant and easy short hike around the Jels lakes. Please note that the route crosses a busy road. Alternating between paths and woodland. At the end of the hike, take a short detour to visit the church and mill.
From Randers to Fussingø
Cycling route to go swimming at Lake Fussingø, starting from Randers along the path that runs alongside the Gudenå river. The outward journey follows the left bank, and the return journey follows the right bank through the wet meadows of Vorup. Magnificent rolling landscapes as you move away from the river towards the lake.
Sandmile Skagen
A walking trail through a dune with rich biodiversity, and the chance to swim alone in the Kattegat (the part of the Baltic Sea that joins the North Sea between Denmark and Sweden)
Forest, beach and dunes in Hulsig
Short route starting from Hulsig station, which leads into a charming forest, passes by the beach, where you can swim alone once you are away from the busy areas, then crosses the dunes and returns via a beautiful cycle path.
Øster Strand and Det Hvide Vandtårn, Frederica
This walk starts along the seaside, where you can enjoy Øster Strand wooden structure and swimming spot and Havfruefløjterne art. Then, you walk along the community garden and alternative container shops with a view of the suspension bridge before enjoying a historical walk along the diverse bastion.
