Agri – Ebeltoft

The Mols Bjerge Trail is a wonderful 80 km hiking route divided into four stages.

This stage passes through a forested landscape dating back to the Ice Age, opening out onto Ørnbjerg Mølle with its millwheel and pond.

The walk passes through the Ulstrup Ådal valley and past Stubbe Sø, the largest lake in Djursland, then on to Skærsø Manor, before following an old railway line to the coast.

The stage begins in the lakeside town of Ebeltoft, with its hollyhocks, half-timbered houses and cobbled streets.

Notes

The official route is walked in reverse order and begins at Agri. The walk starts from a walking hostel in Agri, not in Femmøller. (There are about 4 km between Femmøller and Agri.) It is very welcoming and very well situated: it allows you to stay overnight between the stages (5), (5) and (E).)

To complete the four stages, you can park in Ebeltoft, take a bus to Rønde, and start the route from there.

All the stages are available here.
