A shaded and easy hike through the woods and around Chantilly Castle, passing through the small villages of Courteuil and Avilly-Saint-Léonard with some points of interest such as the Table d'Apremont and, of course, the pleasure of seeing Chantilly Castle, its Grandes Écuries and its racecourse

This short walk of just under 6 km in and around Saint-Valery-sur-Somme is full of charm with its fishermen's streets lined with decorated and flower-filled houses, its sailors' calvary with views of the entire bay and the town, its quays along the Somme and its Saint-Valery Chapel, known as the Sailors' Chapel, not to mention its history with the Porte Jeanne d'Arc and numerous views of the Bay of Somme

A shaded day-long hike to discover the Norman Vexin with Lyons-la-Forêt, a listed village, and its large forests. This is one of the most beautiful beech and oak forests in Europe, with tall trees, an arboretum, the Fouillebroc and Sainte-Catherine springs, and the 12th-century Cistercian abbey of Mortemer.

A walk through Rouen, a quintessential Norman city with its many churches and remarkable monuments, its clock and its historic sites, as well as its panoramic views of the Seine and the city from the hillsides.

A stroll around the area and through Chauvigny, following the River Vienne to the church of Saint-Pierre-les-Églises, set slightly apart, which preserves frescoes dating from before the year 1000. We return to the medieval centre of the town, which overlooks the River Vienne, passing by its medieval towers, its castle and the12th-century Saint-Pierre Collegiate Church with its painted interior.

Walk along the Vosges ridges down to Lac de la Lande. This walk follows the Hautes Vosges stubble trails among Vosges cows, passing not far from the farmhouse inns of Breitzousen, Fershmuss and Schmargult. Further down, through the shady beech and spruce woods, you reach Lac de la Lande, an ideal spot for a picnic. The very reasonable elevation gain of 250 m over 9.5 km means that this hike is not particularly difficult. 06/02/2023: Hiking is prohibited until further notice by municipal decree due to rock and stone falls on theGR®531.
