Pauparelle
From the arid plateau of the Causses to the foothills of Puech Pounchut, this walk takes you on a journey of discovery through the upper Jonte valley and its contrasts.
A very scenic trail; climb towards Pauparelle to discover the interlocking roofs of Meyrueis, nestled at the foot of the rock, leading to the Jonte gorges bordered by the Causse Méjean and the Aigoual massif: a journey between the Causses and the Cévennes.
Roc de Galta
By taking the Route Royale between St-Germain-de-Calberte and Barre-des-Cévennes, you’ll reach the Galta rock ridge and discover beautiful views over the St-Martin-de-Lansuscle valley and the Cévennes, from Mont Lozère to the summit of Aigoual.
Roc de la Truque
Set off to discover a rural world where tradition meets modernity, where old buildings stand alongside modern structures. A journey from the past to the present along this trail, which runs entirely across the plateau.
Soubrelargue Valley
A lovely exploration of this valley via a ridge path, dominated by the Château de Bellegarde, now in ruins. Back in the deep valleys of the Cévennes, opened up in the early 18th century by the railway.
