Ascent of the Petit and Grand Taillefer, the first peaks of the Belledonne range, clearly visible from the city of Grenoble.
The view from the summit is magnificent, taking in Mont Blanc, the peaks of the Écrins Massif (Barre des Écrins, Roc de la Muzelle, etc.) as well as the Aiguilles d'Arves to the east and the peaks of the Vercors and Dévoluy to the west.

A lovely walk to reach the summit of Rochecourbe (one of the 3 Becs), ascending via one of the prettiest passes (the Pas de Picourère) and returning via the magnificent Rocher de la Laveuse and the Pas de Siarra.Take care: the paths are steep and slippery, unmarked and run close to cliffs. This hike is therefore best suited to walkers accustomed to this type of terrain.
Please note that the route passes through a wildlife sanctuary. Certain sections are off-limits between 15 May and 15 July. Specific signage and a diversion from the GR®9 have been put in place to guide walkers; see here.
