This 6-kilometre walk from the village of Sainte-Colombe (with a single exposed climb of about 1.8 km) offers aerial views of Sainte-Colombe and the surrounding landscapes (Céans valley, Adrech rocks and Dévoluy) along the Chabre ridge via a flat, shaded hillside path. A variation halfway through is possible to reduce the route to around 4 kilometres.

A beautiful, very easy walk in the Saint-Pons valley, in the heart of a well-maintained departmental park, towards the former abbey of the same name. A very shady walk along a tributary of the Huveaune, where you can discover old mills from the 17th and 18th centuries. Great fun for children and largely accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Originally a lead processing plant in 1851, closed in 1925, L’Escalette became, during the Second World War, along with the L’Escalette fort, a gun battery for the Italian and later German armies. A lover of Marseille, gallery owner Eric Touchaleaume purchased the Friche de l’Escalette in 2011 to create a park featuring sculptures and light architecture. Starting from Luminy, near the Tennis-Swimming Club House, a circular route takes you along the ridges to the Sommet des Escampons. An easy walk, though with a short steep section at the start, offering unobstructed and superb views of Marseille, its southern districts (and beyond) and the sea: Île de Riou, Pointe de Sormiou. The route is fairly busy in its first section and quieter once you reach the circular route around the Sommet des Escampons. An easy walk around Mont Redon at the entrance to the Calanques Natural Park. The route is very easily accessible (by car or bus) on the outskirts of Marseille, following a well-shaded and little-used DFCI track. The slope is very steady, starting off gently and then becoming steeper towards the summit of Mont Redon. The entire route can be easily completed by mountain bike. Lake Xoldokogaina, also known as Lake Ibardin, is located at an altitude of 330 m in the Arola Valley, surrounded by the Xoldo, Munhoa and Onéaga mountains. It was created in the early 1930s as a water reserve. Swimming and fishing are prohibited. A hike starting from the car park, below the ventas (traditional Basque restaurants) when arriving from the pass, provides access to the lake and offers beautiful views of the Basque coast and the surrounding mountains. The trail crosses pastureland where you may encounter pottoks and betisoak. The Ibardin Pass offers exceptional views of the Spanish and French Pyrenees. The site is ideal for relaxing by the water or enjoying a picnic.

An easy family circular. Discover the countryside around Bidart and its iconic mill. This old flour mill, whose origins date back several centuries, is famous not only for its traditional architecture but also for its functionality, which has stood the test of time. The mill uses hydraulic power, characteristic of traditional mills in the Basque Country, which captures the energy of the water from the Uhabia River. It is one of the few mills in the Basque Country still in operation today, producing flour using traditional methods. The route follows part of the Bidart greenway, which can be extended to the sea by following the Uhabia.
