Magnificent, varied landscapes of hills, pastures, forests and small villages clinging to the hillsides or nestled in the valleys. These are picture-postcard landscapes, which walkers can explore via paths and trails that wind their way up and down hills in beautiful, well-maintained natural surroundings.

This hike begins in the magnificent medieval town of Sainte-Ursanne on the banks of the Doubs. I suggest you walk in the Clos du Doubs region, in the heart of the Swiss Jura. We will first head up to the hills, to the villages of Montenol and Epauvillers. The panoramic views here are stunning. You will gradually descend towards the Doubs, which winds its way between pastures and forests. The sound of the water, the tinkling of cow bells and the scents of the countryside will transport you to another world...

The village of Saint-André-le-Désert is located between Clunisois and Charolais. I suggest this short walk in the heart of the Charolais cattle breeding region. The paths run through a landscape of rolling hills and hedgerows. You will pass through small hamlets with stone houses and places steeped in history. Suitable for families.

A very beautiful circular route in the heart of the Swiss Jura, straddling the cantons of Basel-Landschaft and Solothurn. You will pass through the charming village of Burg and its medieval-style castle, the Rittimatte, from where you can admire a magnificent panorama stretching from the Vosges to the Black Forest. You will then cross over to the other side of the Raemelsberg to admire the spectacular scenery from the ruins of the Blauenstein before climbing up towards the Challpass. A very pleasant walk alternating between forests and pastures.

A beautiful walk in the canton of Jura from the charming village of Bourrignon, passing by high-altitude farms, La Caquerelle at the junction between the Delémont valley, Ajoie and Clos du Doubs, Col des Rangiers and Les Ourdons. All these places offer wide open spaces with magnificent panoramic views of the Jura, Alps and Vosges mountains. Very pleasant in all seasons.

A lovely walk in the Jura canton from La Caquerelle at the junction between the Delémont valley, the Ajoie and the Clos du Doubs. The path first overlooks the Sorne Valley from Mont Russelin before descending into the Clos du Doubs. You’ll follow the peaceful Doubs river to the medieval town of Saint-Ursanne before climbing back up through the pastures towards La Caquerelle. It’s a very pleasant walk through forests, pastures, streams and hills, offering beautiful views.
