- 1 : km 0 - alt. 61 m - From the cathedral walk round the back of the Bishop’s Palace and down the slope to the river.
- 2 : km 0.46 - alt. 52 m - Follow the riverside path downstream, then go up Millrow to the bridge.
- 3 : km 0.5 - alt. 51 m - Cross the bridge and take the first right into Bridgend.
- 4 : km 0.55 - alt. 50 m - Walk up Bridgend and, at the end, take the path which leaves between the footbridge ramp and No.1 Bridgend.
- 5 : km 0.84 - alt. 53 m - Follow the path all the way to the Faery Bridge.
- 6 : km 1.28 - alt. 57 m - Cross the Faery Bridge and turn right to return to the cathedral.
- S/E : km 1.81 - alt. 61 m
