Waypoints
- S : km 0 - alt. 23 m -
From the meeting point proceed eastwards past the shop and out of the village. At the last house on R turn R (sign Lomond View) and follow the farm track through 5 gateways before taking the narrower L hand path upwards towards the hills until a wire fence is reached. Continue over the stile (avoiding any barbed wire) and pick up the sheep track a few steps diagonally L before proceeding over several fields, keeping the fence to L, with scree slopes to R, until a vehicular farm track is reached. Turn R and walk up past the first zig zag to large boulders & good viewpoint for the banana break.
- 2 : km 2.06 - alt. 159 m - Retrace steps downhill and continue straight on down the main track, through the farm and down to the road. Turn R for a few metres and then turn L past stone pillars and along to ‘T’ junction, turn L along main driveway past Gargunnock House following the path to L past a walled garden, take L fork then R turn circumventing a cottage fence and continue along footpath to road, turn R back to the village
