Waypoints
- S/E : km 0 - alt. 60 m
- 1 : km 0 - alt. 60 m - Leave the Bannockburn Heritage Centre and walk across the memorial field and down behind the Borestone Bowling Club onto Chartershall Road and turn right.
- 2 : km 0.63 - alt. 50 m - After a few metres turn right along a track and walk across the field to the far left hand side. (Right of way/Public Path) Exit via a gate and walk straight up through another field and on through another gate past Newpark Farm and follow public path sign.
- 3 : km 1.37 - alt. 60 m - Take the bridge over the motorway and take the path through the field to the right. Proceed straight across field staying on the left hand grassy track and on reaching Tinkers Loan turn right.
- 4 : km 1.54 - alt. 64 m - Walk up Tinkers Loan (uneven path and gravel) and cross Gateside Road and continue along Tinkers Loan to Polmaise Road.
- 5 : km 2.38 - alt. 86 m - Turn right into Polmaise Road (no pavement – keep to the right facing the oncoming traffic) and walk down until crossing the motorway bridge to reach Torbrex Road. Cross to the left hand pavement and after a few metres cross to the right into Wordie Road.
- 6 : km 3.59 - alt. 42 m - Walk all the way up Wordie Road following the road round to the left.
- 7 : km 4.46 - alt. 55 m - When it joins Gateside Road turn to the right and cross over and turn left into Graystale Road, turn left into Bearside Road then right into Newpark Crescent, right into Barnsdale Road, left into Sauchie Road and walk through a pedestrian path into the field adjoining the grounds of the Heritage Centre.
- 8 : km 5.1 - alt. 50 m - Walk across the field to the left and through a gate and take the path uphill. Turn right back into the grounds of the Heritage Centre.
- S/E : km 5.55 - alt. 61 m
