Waypoints

  1. S/E : km 0 - alt. 30 m - From the MacRobert Arts Centre walk to the zebra crossing beyond Andrew Miller Building, cross to the other side then turn right and follow the footpath to another zebra crossing.
  2. 2 : km 0.19 - alt. 32 m - At the second zebra crossing, cross then turn left and follow the footpath to Spittal Hill wood.
  3. 3 : km 0.65 - alt. 22 m - Continue along the road within Spittal Hill chalets eventually going uphill to Hillfoots Road.
  4. 4 : km 1.13 - alt. 36 m - Cross Hillfoots Road and walk uphill to the Wallace Monument Visitors Centre.
  5. 5 : km 1.27 - alt. 38 m - Follow the footpath behind the visitors centre uphill and at the path junction turn left and walk along the footpath to the Ochils Viewpoint. Continue on this footpath which goes downhill and along to another main path junction, then turn right.
  6. 6 : km 2.89 - alt. 103 m - Walk uphill to another main path junction, then turn right. Walk to the next main path junction, then turn left and walk uphill to access Stirling Viewpoint.
  7. 7 : km 2.97 - alt. 92 m - Continue uphill on this path to Wallace Monument access road which leads to the front entrance of Wallace Monument.
  8. 8 : km 2.99 - alt. 93 m - Walk past the front entrance of Wallace Monument and down the footpath at the other side.
  9. 9 : km 3.15 - alt. 82 m - At the monument access road turn left, then take the same path back to the monument visitors centre.
  10. 10 : km 3.41 - alt. 38 m - After the visitors centre return to the MacRoberts Centre along the same route e.g. through Spittal Hill university accommodation and woodland
  11. S/E : km 4.66 - alt. 29 m
