  1. S/E : km 0 - alt. 30 m - Leave University by athletics track and walk towards Wallace High School.
  2. 2 : km 1.11 - alt. 10 m - Cross the road and take Aboyne Avenue to get to Easter Cornton Road.
  3. 3 : km 1.86 - alt. 9 m - Walk along until you are almost at ‘The Birds and Bees’ pub and before it turn left into grassy playground which leads through to Chisholm Avenue.
  4. 4 : km 2.31 - alt. 7 m - At the end cross Chattan Avenue, then take the ramp and bridge over the railway line.
  5. 5 : km 2.49 - alt. 7 m - Cross Adamson Place and take the path which crosses grassy common ground. At far side cross Johnston Avenue going straight ahead into Etive Place.
  6. 6 : km 2.88 - alt. 5 m - On the bend where Strathmore Drive is signposted take the footpath to the left and follow it around the perimeter of the housing estate and parallel to Cornton Road.
  7. 7 : km 3.72 - alt. 4 m - Cross at traffic lights and go over Old Stirling Bridge.
  8. 8 : km 3.83 - alt. 6 m - Turn left to follow the first underpass then left to the second underpass leading to Lovers’ Walk. Follow the pavement beside the river and then a new tarmac path parallel to Riverside Drive.
  9. 9 : km 5.48 - alt. 2 m - Cross Cambuskenneth Bridge. Turn left onto Ferry Road and then along North Street to get to Ladysneuk Road.
  10. 10 : km 7.25 - alt. 10 m - Return via Alloa Road crossing at Corrieri’s, up Logie Road and into University at Spittal hill.
  11. S/E : km 8.73 - alt. 29 m
