  1. S/E : km 0 - alt. 116 m - Park here on big wide bend there is large layby
  2. 2 : km 0.16 - alt. 120 m - Wastor Cross - turn left
  3. 3 : km 0.62 - alt. 98 m - Turn left - sapphires summer house is the posh one on the right. Trot up the hill
  4. 4 : km 1.25 - alt. 101 m - Turn left at grassy triangle next to quarry
  5. 5 : km 1.4 - alt. 94 m - Turn left (shy at water alongside road) grey horsey in field is Sapphires half sister
  6. 6 : km 1.83 - alt. 103 m - Turn right on bend with mirror - join road to beach
  7. 7 : km 2.31 - alt. 98 m - Turn left - signed Kingston (unless you want to go to the beach!) Nice trot up the hill to the Kingston Tree
  8. 8 : km 3.01 - alt. 108 m - Arrive at cross roads at top of village. Go straight across past allotments.
  9. 9 : km 3.13 - alt. 106 m - Turn right up the hill past the playing fields
  10. 10 : km 3.35 - alt. 109 m - Turn left, into Long Lane - very quiet road as essentially only goes to a bridleway and fields.
  11. 11 : km 4.49 - alt. 88 m - At end of road becomes a bridleway go through gate, down very steep hill (I usually get off! - there is a stile at the bottom to get back on!) at bottom of hill bear around to left
  12. 12 : km 5.29 - alt. 81 m - Follow bridleway back to Kingston past ponds etc (if cantering be a bit careful of walkers and fallen trees) Also crosses little stream if thirsty. After sewers becomes road again
  13. 13 : km 5.72 - alt. 97 m - Turn right, down hill into village centre, past fire engine. Follow until t-junction
  14. 14 : km 6.22 - alt. 101 m - Turn right at thatched cottage t-junc and go up hill (gateway on left at top wave to Sapphire and Gission)
  15. 15 : km 6.83 - alt. 96 m - Bear left down hill under trees
  16. 16 : km 7.26 - alt. 79 m - Be careful on steeper windy hill, goes up round sharp to left and people drive like idiots!
  17. 17 : km 7.78 - alt. 101 m - Turn left into unsurfaced road - Langston lane (canter-able and generally empty)
  18. 18 : km 9.11 - alt. 123 m - Turn right at grassy triangle and head for grain sheds
  19. 19 : km 9.38 - alt. 126 m - Grain sheds - turn left and follow road back to start.
  20. S/E : km 10.21 - alt. 116 m
