(S/E) Start from the car park by the sea in Pourville-sur-Mer. Take Rue Léonce Grau to join the D75 towards Varengeville-sur-Mer. Keep left to pass the tennis courts and take the D153 on the left towards Petit-Appeville. Follow the D153 for 200 m and turn right onto Chemin du Bois d'Hautot. Follow theGR® on the left via the "voie sans issue" (dead end) path 30 m higher up.
(1) After 200 m, at number 215, leave theGR® and take the path on the right. After 150 m, you will arrive at the Bois de Bernouville or Hautot. There is an information sign here.
Take the first path on the left. Follow the path for 500 m.
(2) You will arrive at a three-way junction; take the path on the left that goes uphill. After 250 m, take the path on the right (there is a large stone on the right). After 100 m, you will pass the castle ruins on your right. Continue uphill on the main road, which turns left. Ignore the road on your right and continue on the main road for 300 m. At the end of the woods, at the signpost, turn right and drive past the small car park.
(3) At the car park entrance, do not take theGR®21on the left, but take the road opposite the property gate. Leave the "Pas de l'enfer" path on your right. This is Rue de Bernouville, opposite theGR®21, towards Hautot.
You will pass the wolf stable on your right. Continue for 700 m. In Hautot, at the stop sign, take Chemin des Petites Bruyères opposite, leaving the Hautot bistro on your right.
(4) Follow the Chemin des Petites Bruyères, but be careful, it turns right after 50 m. Follow this path, at the first stop sign go straight ahead and turn right at the three-way junction 50 m further on. You are still on the Chemin des Petites Bruyères, you will cross the Chemin des Sablonnières, continue straight ahead on the same path.
Continue for 500 m until you reach a crossroads. At the give way sign, turn left onto Route des Petites Bruyères and go down the small path that runs alongside the road on the left.
At the end of the road (about 50 m), cross the D75.
(5) Take Rue Hamel Aubin on the left. Follow the street for about 1,000 metres towards the sea.
Take Rue de l'Aumône on the right; you will see a large property at the corner of the intersection.
(6) Keep left and take the small road on the left after about 400 m. Be careful, it is not signposted and is located at number 31. Continue to Impasse Leclerc and turn right at the entrance.
Pass the Résidence du Port des Moutiers on your right and continue straight ahead.
(7) Turn right at the start of Route Margueritte Rolle. Leave Chemin de l'Église on your left. Continue along this road until you reach the marine cemetery. You will pass the Bois et Parc des Moutiers.
(8) At the cemetery, retrace your steps back to the crossroads.
(9) Take the Sentier du Littoral on the left, which is also theGR®21. The path is well signposted. Follow it to Pourville.
(10) The path branches off to the right after the Cabane de Monet.
(11) Turn right at the water treatment plant and join Rue de l'Aumône.
(12) Follow it on the left. Pass in front of the communal woods (which can be visited). You will arrive in the Petit-Ailly gorge. Climb up the hill for 300 m.
(13) Take theGR®21or Sentier du Littoral on the left. You will arrive at the top of the road.
(14) Continue on theGR®21on the right. You can also follow a shorter alternative route described in the practical information section, which avoids a long stretch of tarmac.
Follow the Route du Hamelet straight ahead, still on theGR®21, follow the road "Cavée des patis doux" for 600 m and you will arrive at the starting point (S/E).
