Valbona to Theth - Winter path

A beautiful mountain hike with stunning views of the two valleys and the mountains. It’s all uphill until you pass the peak, after which it’s all downhill (half dirt path, half rocky terrain). You might see cows, horses, and donkeys in the second half.

Notes

There are three cafés along the route.

ℹ️ The host of our guest house drove us in a 4x4 to the starting point because the road leading there isn’t very scenic. A hiker’s car took us from the end point back to our guest house in Teth, which was still a 45-minute walk away.

⚠️ Ask your guest house for advice; the winter trail is the recommended route when the summer trail is closed out of season because it’s too dangerous.
