Seoul City Wall: From Changuimun Gate to Sungnyemun Gate
Magnificent tour along the city ramparts!
You really go from the hustle and bustle of the city to the peace and quiet of the mountains.
Be careful though, as the hike is long and the mountain closes at a certain time.
Breathtaking scenery!
Seoul City Wall: from Sungnyemun Gate to Changuimun Gate
A magnificent tour along the city walls! You really go from the hustle and bustle of the city to the peace and quiet of the mountains. Be aware of the length of the hike and the mountain closing times. We had to do it in two parts because the two highest mountains are next to each other (to the north). The scenery is breathtaking!
Sangwonsa 상원사
This walk in the heart of Odaesan National Park in South Korea allows you to see two beautiful temples in unspoilt natural surroundings in very comfortable conditions (the paths are marked and extremely well equipped, as is usual in South Korea - at least from what I have seen).
Heundeul Bawi Rock 설악산 흔들바위
Hiking in Seoraksan National Park (Seorak District) 설악산국립공원 설악동지구Accessible from SOKSHO by bus (city bus), very well marked and equipped, as in all the parks we visited in South Korea. Extremely pleasant in spring; must be extraordinary with the colours of autumn. It feels like a stroll in a city park, even though you are surrounded by nature. Access to some very beautiful viewpoints.
