It's an easy family walk in Bodmin Moor leading to stunning 360° viewpoints from Showery and Rough Tors. It's a lovely place to enjoy the colors of sunset as well!

Description of the walk

Park your car at Rough Tor Forestry Commission car park (Road from Camelford).

(S/E) Past the car park, go down the track, go through the gate and cross the stream. Ascend the large grassy path in front in front of you leading to a kind of "pass".

(1) When you reach the pass, bear left to Showery Tor. At the top, you overlook Cowdy Reservoir. Then, retrace your steps to the path and ascend Little Rough Tor (373 m) and Rough Tor (400m) in front of you. From this last Tor, you can admire Stannon Lake and Brown Willy (420m) as well.

(2) From Rough Tor, descend the non-well mark path in the middle of stones before you reach the grassy path heading back to the car park.(S/E)
