From Le Pouliguen towards Batz-sur-Mer via the Boulevard de l'Atlantique, when the boulevard reaches the coast, at the intersection with Boulevard des Korrigans, park in the car park on the right-hand side of the road.
Red and whiteGR®®34markings
(S/E) Cross the Boulevard de l'Atlantique to reach the coastal path and follow it to the left. It runs alongside the Boulevard des Korrigans. Shortly afterwards, you will pass the Grotte des Korrigans: there is a staircase leading down to it, which you can use on the way there or back, depending on the tide. Continue along the coastal path, still between the ocean and Boulevard des Korrigans, which further on becomes Boulevard des Marsouins. There are numerous small coves along this very rocky coastline. It is sometimes possible to go down to them, but rarely to go from one beach to another.
(1) Here, you can descend to a small beach via a staircase extended by a path carved into the rock and continue between the rocks to climb back up further on. Then pass Pointe de la Pierre Plate and continue.
(2) TheGR®®34leaves the coast and turns left. Follow it as the path soon joins the road. This short section crosses Pointe de Penchâteau and offers a glimpse of La Baule Bay on the other side, which is a world away from the Côte Sauvage.
(3) Return to the car park (S/E) by following the same route you took on the way there.
