Saint-Amarin - Mitzach / Tour du Hirschenbach - Sentier des Poètes variant

A pleasant circular route suitable for families or groups with inexperienced walkers and/or children. Numerous opportunities for breaks and stunning views over the Mitzach and Saint-Amarin valleys. You can shorten the walk by taking "shortcuts" to the valley at the end of the route and change the direction of the circular route by starting from Saint-Amarin and taking theGR®532(Yellow Rectangle) and/or following the "vita" route. However, this direction will be a little more "challenging" for those who are less physically fit.

Hello, thank you to the author for sharing this, it's absolutely fabulous, magnificent! I hike a lot and this one was lovely, cute and magical! The start of the hike up to the refuge is superb, then the walk through the forest was nice too.
I went early in the week, so I didn't meet anyone.

A superb walk from start to finish with numerous magnificent viewpoints. As a bonus, there are three picnic spots, two of which are truly remarkable: at the Mitzach bonfire (point 3) with a magnificent 180° panorama, an outdoor table, a barbecue, a sheltered indoor table (as a bonus, the shelter was surrounded by a herd of goats when we visited at the end of June!) and at Bellevue, at the Hirschbackkopf summit (point 6). There is no shelter here, but there is a table, bench, barbecue and cooking utensils available, and here too, there is a magnificent view. Definitely worth a visit.
