Starting from the Ornans cemetery, this walk climbs rapidly up to the heights overlooking the Loue valley. The route takes in several viewpoints overlooking the white rocks of the cliffs framing the ‘Little Venice of the Comté’. It will take you off the beaten track along the small, rugged cliffs of Mont d’Ully, honing your sense of direction as you head towards the Lachenaud ravine to reach the meadows before descending through the Châtelet woods. A beautiful and varied circular route, combining panoramic views, cliffs, woodland and the heritage of Ornans.
