Departure from Gissac (Aveyron)
Situated in the commune of Gissac in the Rougier de Camarès, this short walk of less than 5 km offers stunning panoramic views. We did it in the morning and were enchanted by the autumn light. At the end of the walk, you can visit Montaigut Castle, which is well worth a look.

Departure from Saint-Affrique (Aveyron)
From Vaxergues, join the Saint-Affricain Greenway for a walk towards Saint-Jean-d’Alcapiès. Built on a former railway line, this route winds through the rolling, wooded landscapes of the Avant-Causse. Bridges, viaducts and retaining structures still bear witness to its railway heritage. This walk does not return to the starting point, so you will need to leave a car in Saint-Jean-d’Alcapiès for the return journey.
