(S) Head towards the crossroads, then cross to the left towards Alfortville to reach Rue Eugène Renault. After 500 metres, take thefifth street on the left, Rue de Véron, towards the POC. The first mural is located 100 metres to the right, near the square. Created in 2011 by the artist Pittorex, this work depicts a child’s face standing out against the sky. Entitled “Droit de l’enfant”, it incorporates an excerpt from the International Convention on the Rights of the Child adopted in 1989.

(1) Continue along Rue de Véron for 450 metres, then take thesecond right onto Rue de Seine, followed by Rue Marcelin Berthelot on the left. On the corner, on the façade of the Groupe scolaire Octobre, JACE created a mural in 2020 depicting the “Gouzous”, the artist’s favourite characters, playing with books, numbers and letters. At 76 Rue Marcelin Berthelot, above the “Boys – Girls” entrance, they are on their way to school.

(2) Turn left onto this street. At the end, take the footpath on the left to return to Rue Véron. Turn right and, after 150 metres, turn right onto Rue Parmentier. At No. 26, discover the mural “Coral Seabed”, created in 2022 by 2RODE, where the artist takes you to the tropics, amidst multicoloured fish and vibrant corals. Internationally renowned, his works appear in history books and films, and are regularly exhibited.

(3) Continue along Rue Parmentier, then turn left onto Rue Volta. At the end of this street, turn right onto Rue du Port à l’Anglais until you reach the electricity substation opposite No. 9, near the Jardins Michel Derbois. True to his signature style, he uses the power of colour alone to create depth and light, here composing the “Portrait of 3 Women”.

(5) Continue on and, at the end of the street, turn right onto Rue Paul Vaillant-Couturier. At No. 163, on the corner with Rue Louis Blanc, note the electrical cabinet paying tribute to the great inventors who have shaped the history of electricity. At the junction with Rue Étienne Dolet, turn right and continue to the Léo Lagrange sports complex. (11) Continue by turning right onto the Digue d’Alfortville, then turn right again at the roundabout onto Rue Étienne Dolet. After 200 metres, on the left, past the cemetery, turn into Rue Nelson Mandela.
