Oleiros (Castelo Branco District) walks

A short circular walk but with a steep gradient. A mid-mountain route (880 m) passing through woodland and heathland and crossing a few streams, which may be dry depending on the season. Views of the villages of Roqueiro, Ameixoeira and Estreito, particularly from the heights of the Serra das Casinhas.

A beautiful walk with fairly steep slopes! We recommend swimming in the lower section (where there is no one else), as the river beach at the end is packed! At the end of the descent, before the bridge, you will need to leave the riverbank to go around a property.
