Description of the walk

Driving to start: From Käkä Point Southern side, take the road following the bend towards Nugget Point. Park at the end of the road on the car park.

(S/E) Walk towards the viewpoint located near the parking.

(1) Leave the viewpoint taking right to reach the well-maintained path.

(2) Keep left on the right path and carry on until you reach the lighthouse. Along the way, as you walk along the ridge, enjoy the view on both sides.

(3) At the lighthouse, enjoy the view over the nuggets that gave the name of this place then walk back the same way in reverse to the car park. (S/E)

Jack's Blowhole is an open cave on the coast which, invaded by the ocean, collapsed 200 m further on, forming a huge rectangular abyss 140 m long and 70 m wide. At high tide, and even more so in heavy weather, the sea water and air trapped in the narrowing cavity are expelled through this natural vent and projected in jets of water and spray with impressive roars. Nearby, a platform allows you to see the bottom of the karstic cave 55 m below.
