The Couserans mountains seen from Saint-Pierre de Soulan

In the village of Saint-Pierre de Soulan , pass the church and, about a hundred metres further on, park in a small car park with five or six spaces.

(S/E) From the car park, pass the cemetery and follow the D217 out of the village towards the hamlet of Boussan . Don't hesitate to venture a little way into the hamlet to enjoy the 180° view of the Pyrenees.

(1) At the first intersection, take the road on the left. About 60 metres after the last house on the right, look for a path on the left that runs alongside the road (there is a yellow sign on the tree at this location).

(2) Follow this path to the road junction. There is a small stream crossing which can be more or less tricky depending on the season.

(3) When you reach the fork in the road, turn left and follow the road downhill. After Impasse du Tardiou (a group of several houses), leave the road that leads to Ségalas.

(4) Take the path on the left. It is steep, so take care on the descent. At a fork in the path, continue left to the cemetery.

(5) Go around the cemetery and, at the road, turn right to return to the car park (S/E).
