Parking along Rue à la Spinette at Mont Spinette, Malmedy.
(S/E) Take the street opposite No. 18. Walk downhill, turn left and then immediately right. A little further on, turn right.
(1) At the fork in the road, turn right. Go round the barrier, head downhill to join a footpath and continue to the right. Ignore the next footpath coming from the left and head back up along the Trô Maret to the picnic table. Head up to the left of the table; once you reach the path, turn left, cross the bridge and continue along the main path. Enter the forest.
(2) At the junction after the bend, turn left. Head downhill and, at the end of the path (which has become a track), turn right. Carry on to another junction.
(3) Turn left towards Ferme Libert. Carry on until you reach the cross.
(4) Turn left and head downhill to Ferme Libert.
(5) Turn right and, a little further on, take the path up to the right to enter the game reserve.
(6) After the enclosure for wild boar piglets and adults, continue along the path behind the shelters until you reach an unpaved track. Turn right.
Please note that from (7) to (10) this is a “quiet zone”; please keep quiet out of respect for the animals.
(7) At the Fork in the road, a few metres before the cross you saw on the way there, turn left.
(8) When you reach the hunter’s hut, situated higher up, follow the path on the right.
(9) At the junction, turn right. Follow the main path downwards until you reach a wide track.
(10) Take the path opposite towards Moûpa. Take care on the narrow wooden walkway when there is snow. At the crossroads, turn right.
(2) Continue straight on. Cross the bridge and, immediately afterwards, don’t miss the path on the right leading to the picnic table. Follow the route you took on the way there.
(1) Turn left, then left again, and finally right to head back up to the finish (S/E).
