Lez (fleuve) walks

An urban hike that mainly follows pedestrian routes and allows you to discover the many facets of Montpellier. From the historic Écusson district, where you can wander through narrow streets, to the recently developed Antigone district with its ambitious architecture, you will encounter a rich and contrasting heritage.

During this beautiful hike starting from Palavas-les-Flots, you will walk around the Étang du Grec, admiring the flamingos, boats and other beauties of the region.

A pleasant climb towards Compussan under the beech trees accompanies the summer pastures. It continues across high-altitude meadows and leads to the rocky massif of Cap de Broc with a beautiful view of the valley floor, returning via Alas and theGR®® which follows the Lez river a little higher up.

Randonnée au tracé très complexe nécessitant l'utilisation d'un GPS. La carte IGN au 1/25000 n'est pas suffisante. En contrepartie, vous découvrirez de nombreux petits sentiers non balisés et peu fréquentés, à l'écart des pistes et en sous-bois. Vous atteindrez la source du Lez, secteur bien aménagé pouvant faire l'objet d'une pause et reviendrez vers le parking, toujours par des chemins isolés.
