Description of the walk

A small car park on Rue de Tenat, signposted for horse riders, allows you to park a horsebox and unload the horses.

(S/E) Leave the car park and head back to the road you arrived on. Turn left and follow this road along the lower side of the road. Pass a riding centre.

(1) At the rubbish bins, turn onto the path on the right. Cross a small stream and keep to the right. From here, the sandy section begins. Stay between the metal wires marking the path until you reach a compacted track which is also a cycle path.

(2) Turn right, cross a small bridge, and shortly afterwards, turn sharply left. Ride past the first campsite and continue along this long track. Pass the cycle parking areas and carry on through the sand.

(3) Just before the dune, turn right onto the path leading into the campsite. Take one of the campsite’s main access roads, pass the toilet blocks, turn left to leave the campsite and head for the large Kerhillio car park. Cross the entire car park, then continue along the small road. When you reach the other road at the Stop sign, cross the road and continue along the path opposite.

(4) Follow the signposted route which branches off to the right and joins a track; turn right here to reach a few houses. Turn left onto the small road which goes round a farm, then leads to the hamlet of Lisveur.

(5) Keep left to head away from the hamlet again along the track, cross the Ruisseau de Poulbé and arrive at a junction.

(6) Turn right to continue along the track, keep to the right again and reach a junction.

(7) When the track turns at a right angle, carry on straight ahead along the path – watch out for a few low-hanging branches – until you reach a road.

(8) First turn left then right to continue along the path. You’ll reach the houses at Kervazic; at the first junction, turn right after the greenhouses and walk alongside the campsites.

(9) When you reach a road, first turn left then right to continue almost straight ahead, then first turn right then left to continue along a path leading to Kermovel. At the first junction, turn left towards the hamlet of Kergoz.

(10) Turn left then right onto a path that runs between fields, then past paddocks with horses. Head towards the houses, keep to the right, pass by the Sainte-Brigitte Chapel, then rejoin the original road near the rubbish bins.

(1) Turn right and head for the car park (S/E).
