The starting point is in the Col de la Tortue car park, between Mireval and Fabrèques. Park on the left when coming from Mireval. Opposite is another car park with a graffitied cistern: do not park on the side where this cistern is located.
(S/E) Start with your back to the road (D114) and head towards a fork.
(1) Turn right and follow the yellow markings. Opposite the Bergerie de Saumade, turn left and head towards the first painted cistern.
(2) Continue along the track, keep left at the three-way junction and continue for about 100 metres.
(3) Turn left towards the botanical garden, then right to cross it.
(4) At the exit, turn right and continue to follow the yellow markings. You will come to a track which you should follow to the left until you reach the first crossroads.
(5) Turn left, heading south, leaving the markings, then rejoin them at Bergerie Neuve.
(6) Turn left, following the Cit'Art sign.
(7) Make a short first turn left then right with the yellow markings, turn left at the T-junction and head for the second painted cistern.
(8) Take the path on the left.
(9) Turn right and follow the main path to go around the Pioch des Jasses.
(10) Continue left at the fork and climb up to the Plan de Lacan plateau.
(11) At the top, turn right, leaving the yellow markings, and reach the third and fourth painted cisterns.
(12) Turn left onto what serves as a short airstrip.
(13) Turn left at the end of the runway and walk along the eastern edge of the plateau.
(14) Turn right to make a round trip to Pioch Noir: viewpoint. Then resume the route by going straight ahead to reach the fifth cistern, located on the left.
(15) Leave the track that runs along the Combe de l'Arbousier and follow the ridge leading to Pioch de Camille.
(16) Continue straight ahead and begin a steep descent leading to an intersection. Turn diagonally to the right and continue for about 200 m.
(17) Take the small path on the right (large vertical rock at the crossroads) and climb a short distance to a viewpoint overlooking the Gardiole massif on one side and the sea on the other. Descend, turn right at the bottom and reach the sixth and last cistern.
(18) Take the path behind it and continue to a T-junction.
(19) Turn left and make a 90° left turn with the path to reach the first fork you passed at the start.
(1) Turn right and return to the car park (S/E).
