Start at the village school – junction of Chemin des Écoliers and Rue Jules Cantais.
(S/E) Take Rue Maurice Lebas and head away from the town hall. Head towards the hamlet of “La Cavée”. Continue straight on along Route de la Petite Moissonnière.
(1) Take the path on the left after the pasture and continue straight on along the south-westerly path (GRP®). Walk alongside the Val Horrible meadow.
(2) Turn left at the first path you come to, situated between two fields.
(3) Turn left before entering the woods and walk along the pasture.
(4) Turn left at the end of the meadow and walk along the meadow on the left for the last time (for 100 m).
(5) Take the path on the right leading towards the Bois de la Réserve. Veer slightly left for about ten metres, then turn right onto the main path, bordered on the left and right by barbed wire. Continue straight ahead on this path, heading north-east.
(6) The path then becomes tarmac in the village of La-Trinité-du-Mont; this is Rue de la Briqueterie. Continue in the same direction and return to the starting point (S/E).
A pleasant walk, mostly through woodland; a fair climb but easily manageable... best avoided in wet weather, however (there are a few fairly steep gullies)
