Park near the Revest dam. (S).
From the car park, walk along the lake leading to the Ragas channel (1) which is usually dry except after periods of heavy rain (see : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8zyj07K...).
Beware of slippery rocks which may be loose too.
Retrace your steps to take a newly opened PR (=small hiking trail) which heads uphill to the left to the Cierge ravine leading to Fierraquet quarry road (route de la carrière de Fieraquet). (2). Across the road, you can choose the Turcos path leading to the Cassini pyramid, but we like to walk along the road for about 2 km, going down towards Tourris. Please be careful on weekdays because truck traffic is significant.
After the truck weighing site, take the path on the right (3) which brings us back to the GR51.
(4) At the junction; the GR turns to the right (azimuth 245 °), then to the left after about 500m (5). The waymark to be followed indicates "Vieille Valette" (6), Tourris castle, to the right. It runs along the estate before getting to the castle (7).
The path you need to take is on the left (azimuth 190°) leading us to the pass near the high voltage power line poles (8). We take the slightly tricky path that goes down through the rocks to the right. The Aven, located on the right Altitude 350 m (9) is impressive by its depth. It could also be a resurgence unnamed on maps.
We continue downhill until we cross the Ripelle (10) (spring no longer visible).
Now go uphill again to take the path that goes towards the Touravelle and at the fork crossing, turn right.
The trail is no longer mentioned on recent maps but still exists.
Keep going between the buildings of the Touravelle (buildings purchased by the General Council) and take the path that resumes at the end of the property (11).
Once you at the first junction, turn right to return to the car park near the lake.
You must then take the path uphill leading to la Touravelle, at the junction take a right.
