Park in the large car park before the Auberge de Logibar, which is closed in winter. You can also park in front of the inn or closer to the Pont de la Mouline bridge, which can be accessed from behind the inn.
(S/E) Start parallel to the road and head towards the Pont de Logibar bridge.
(1) Reach the Pont de la Mouline and take the path opposite, which was the old GR®10. Then, three hairpin bends higher up, you will reach a magnificent ridge facing east.
(2) Take this path and continue climbing, following the steps in places. Continue along this path to reach a mountain track.
(3) Turn 180° to the right to take this track heading due south, which is also marked as a PR® with yellow markings. Stay on this trail until you reach the crossroads at the Cayolar d'Ardakotchia buildings, where you will rejoin the GR®10.
(4) Take it to the left and continue climbing to reach Cayolar d'Abarakia.
(5) Leave the GR® here,cut across the small bend in the track and then finish the climb to the summit of Negumendi via the track.
(6) Arrival at Negumendi. Enjoy the view here, then begin the descent via the path opposite. Go around Zegnhaguia on the left. Be careful here: follow the trail and GPS carefully as the path is not very easy to see in places.
(7) Continue downhill on the right (the path is muddy in places) and reach theCol des Trois Croix. Descend slightly to a track to see the Trois Croix.
(8) Then continue west on a track until you reach a hairpin bend.
(9) Leave the track and take a shortcut across a grassy slope to avoid a large bend in the track. A few metres further on, you will come to the crossroads you passed on the way out.
(3) Retrace your steps in the opposite direction, via the Logibar Bridge.
(1) Return to the Logibar car park (S/E).
