We start our route at the CFV3V station in Olloy.
(S/E) We turn our backs on it and take Rue Jean Chot on the right until we reach the four-way crossroads.
At the crossroads, we take the left-hand path towards the river (the Viroin), which we cross via the Old Bridge.
(1) Once on the other side of the Viroin, we take great care as we cross the N99 national road and take a fairly steep street called Rue de la Goulette. Further up the street, the tarmac road disappears, giving way to a stone path.
(2) We must be careful not to miss the path that appears on our right.
The path leads us to La Roche du Pas.
(3) We can take a break before continuing along the path towards the village of Vierves.
We reach the end of the path where the road forms a T-junction.
(4) We then take the left side and walk along a meadow.
After the path makes a 90-degree turn to the right, we take the first left towards the castle. Be careful, the path crosses the N99 national road!
We arrive at the Old Wash House, where we have a splendid view of the castle.
(5) We walk along the left side of the castle and go around it via Rue des Remparts. We pass in front of the church, then in front of the castle porch before entering the old feudal cemetery, which has been converted into a children's park, and continue towards the river below.
(6) We now arrive at the start of a long-distance hiking trail, theGR® 654. We can follow this path without any difficulty almost to the village of Olloy, where we will find our bearings again in the direction of the station.
(7) When we arrive at the Nordic Walking starting point, we are at a crossroads. We take the path on the right. A little further on, we cross the railway line.
We now pass in front of the cemetery of the village of Olloy-sur-Viroin. Just after that, the road forms a Y. We take the path on the right (Rue Cheraivoie) towards the village. We quickly reach the centre of the village (called Les Quatre Chemins), from where we return to the station (S/E).
