At Lescoff in Plogoff, leave the D 784 and turn right onto Rue de Laoual until you reach the stopover lodge car park
(S/E) Turn left into Impasse de Men Tan and continue to the end.
(1) Take the wide unpaved road that continues on and leads to the Men Tan site. This site is worth a stop to discover the many blockhouses and two turrets.
(2) From this height, look for the path that leads westwards through the ferns and heather towards the Pointe du Raz. Follow this path until it crosses the path leading down from the Cité Commerciale (visible in the southern hollow of this valley).
(3) Turn right onto the GR®34 and follow it to the left until you are about 100 m from the semaphore.
(4) You are now at the Pointe du Raz. Access the rocky esplanade via one of the marked paths. At the end, take a hairpin turn with the GR® and head towards the Notre-Dame des Naufragés statue and the semaphore.
(5) Turn right to rejoin the coastal path and follow it south-east. (Stop at the bottom of this descent and turn around to see the rocky point jutting out into the sea, the La Vieille lighthouse and the Île de Sein), then continue on the GR®.
(6) Overlook the small Port de Bestrée and reach the road serving this port.
(7) From this road, continue towards a cove,
- either via the coastal path,
- or via a path through fields, the start of which is located about a hundred metres to the right (marked). You will arrive at a cove.
(8) Climb up the valley (with the stream below on your right) to the Chapel of Saint-Michel.
(9) At the west gable of the house opposite the chapel, take a very narrow alley and follow it northwards. Cross Rue des Hirondelles and take another alley to reach the D784. Cross it with caution. Continue along another alley, still heading north, to rejoin the path taken at the start of the walk.
(1) Turn right onto Rue de Laoual and continue to the stopover lodge car park (S/E).
