Park in the village of Villette at a place called La Croix du Sable.
(S/E) Turn right and go up the D52b road towards the hamlet of Villette. Continue to the end of the tarmac road.

(3) Continue on to reach the old Croix de Meyrieu after two hairpin bends.
(4) Turn right and walk a few steps to reach the new Croix de Meyrieu.
(5) Return to the crossroads at the old Croix de Meyrieu.
(4) Turn right and you will soon reach the Ragères crossroads.
(6) Continue south (opposite) down the slope to reach the hamlet of Dessus la Tessonnière.
(7) First turn right then left to reach the Grotte aux Fées. Return to the crossroads and continue straight ahead to the Y-junction, passing a ruined farmhouse.
(8) Turn left onto the farm track. From this point onwards, the paths and tracks are no longer marked. Continue along a forest track. You will reach a crossroads with a path running alongside a ravine.
(9) Turn right and follow the path alongside the ravine. You will reach the hamlet of Savigny.
(10) Turn left and head towards the centre of the hamlet. Continue along the Grossens path, then the D58a de la Perrière road, and you will reach the hamlet of Troissy.
(11) Turn left, then right towards Longefan.
(12) Turn right onto the departmental road until you reach the D991b crossroads.
(13) Turn left onto this road and continue to the Croix du Sable car park (S/E).
At first, there was nowhere to park, so we parked at the campsite after asking permission. The path to the fairy cave after point 8 is nice, but the descent to Savigny is steep, long and awful. The last four kilometres of road are very difficult, especially in the heat (uninteresting route).
