The route description could be improved in places, but nothing too serious. Let’s just say I prefer to stick to following the route with a map and a compass, but I did have to switch on the GPS in a few spots...
The coastal section is superb, but I also enjoyed the countryside section. It’s less spectacular, but very pleasant.
These lovely autumn days are fantastic for this sort of route.

A lovely route along the GR 34 with views of the sea and St Malo. We didn’t enjoy the inland section as much. In fact, we cut it short a bit.

A lovely walk
It’s easy to get lost in the housing estate, but you’ll soon be back on track
Best done outside peak season (for the GR 34 section)
The section along the beach can be done at high tide, but watch out for slippery rocks
Estimated time: 4 hours 25 minutes
It took us 3 hours 30 minutes (without the children)

From the car park, follow the yellow markings until you reach marker 5. At marker 5, take the road on the right as you approach Saint-Vincent, leaving the yellow markings behind. You will rejoin the yellow markings between markers 10 and 11. From the beach, to return to the car park, take the steps marked with yellow markings and follow the GR. A lovely walk.

Good evening, Alpha,

Thank you for your comments;
Like you, I too prefer the coast, and indeed, by returning to the starting point and avoiding the back-and-forth, you also discover the charm of the inland areas.
Happy hiking

I definitely prefer the coastal section of this walk, but you do have to complete a circular route.

Thank you, Jean-François, for your interest in this hike, which has just been posted online.
As you seem to know the area, on the day of my walk, with the tide at low water at Havre du Lupin, I went round Île Besnard directly via the eastern end of the beach, climbing the embankment off the GR trail. As the passage through the channel leading from the pond presented some difficulties, I did not wish to include this option in this route.
Kind regards
Jean-François D
