Start from the TEC 724 Eupen/Verviers bus stop.
(S/E) Take the small path between the gardens to the side of the bus stop to reach a stile. Follow theGR® signposted route.
At the end of the small path, turn left
(1) Cross the Gileppe aqueduct. The aqueduct, situated along the Route de Goé, was built to supply Verviers with water from the Gileppe.
(2) At the top of the hill, turn right and head down the path.
(3) When you reach a large farm, turn immediately left and go through the gate. There is a lovely view of the village of Goé and its spiral bell tower, as well as the Hertogenwald Forest.
At the end of the path, follow the small road up to an electricity substation and turn right.
(4) Cross the road and take the path opposite. You can visit the old town of Limbourg.
At the Y-junction, turn left.
(5) View of the spot known as "Napoleon’s Nose" in the Bilstain woods. At the end of the path, turn left uphill between the meadows.
(6) To the right, superb view of Stembert and Verviers. Continue along the path.
(7) Walk past the pretty Comagnes farm to reach the Hèvremont-Limbourg road.
(8) When you reach the little Saint-Anne Chapel, head down to the right along the road for about 300m and leave the road via the small dirt track on the right. Continue to the junction and turn right. At the end of the track, cross the road linking Stembert to Hèvremont, then head towards the small path opposite to reach the hamlet of Beaudrifontaine.
(9) Turn left twice and take the Halleur path.
(10) At the end of the Chemin de Halleur, there is a stunning view of the village of Hèvremont and Eupen.
Cross the Hèvremont-Jalhay road and take the small path opposite, which leads you to the centre of the village of Hèvremont.
(11) Turn right to return to the starting point (S/E).
