Col des Supeyres to Col du Béal

(S) At the Col des Supeyres, head north along the tarmac road leading to the Trois Fontaines du Saut du Goulet.

(1) Take the path that climbs northwards onto the Pégrol plateau. Join the^GR®3and the route taken the previous day, then turn left towards Pradoux.
At the next junction, leave the path leading to the Croix du Fossat on your left and head up the path to the Plat de la Richarde.
Go round the Pierre-sur-Haute radio station on your left and head back down to the Col de la Chamboite.
Head back up a stony, rugged path to the Signal de Procher, which you’ll leave on your left, then continue due north, following the^GR®3, passing Peyre Mayou.
At the heliport, turn left, following the^GR® signposts which lead you, overlooking the military road, to the Col du Béal (E).

Important information:

1- You will be trekking in mid-mountain terrain; please remember to check the weather forecast before setting off.

2- You are in a pastoral area and will be crossing private agricultural land:

• please close any gates,
• keep dogs on a lead,
• do not trample the vegetation, as these may be pastures or hay meadows.

3- Watch out for peat bogs and peatland: wet and marshy areas.

4- Certain species of flowers are protected; picking them is prohibited: martagon lily, mountain arnica, sundew, etc.

5- The military road leading to Pierre-sur-Haute, starting from the Col du Béal and running alongside the^GR®3, is strictly closed to traffic.
