Glendalough and the lake tour

Departure from the car park at the entrance to Glendalough. Parking fee €4. It is possible to make a detour to the village, but you will need to take the road.

You may see deer along the path at the top of the waterfalls.

Description of the walk

Follow the paved path past the monastery and the first lake.

At the second lake, follow the path that runs alongside it to the ruins of the miners' village.

Climb up to the pass following the waterfalls

Continue along the trail, climbing to the top of the mountain overlooking the lake.

Descend back to the lake and return to the car park
