(S). Cross the Savoureuse river and turn left onto the departmental road. Then turn right onto the second street, Rue des Près Heyd. Leave the buildings on your left and turn right, continuing until you reach the fork with Rue Sous la Côte.
(1) Take this street on the left. Then pass a crossroads on the right. Go through the hamlet of Sous la Côte. Turn right, then take another, sharper turn to the left. Then enter a wood, then come out of it and arrive at a fork. Turn left, then take a long turn, keeping to the right, until you reach the next crossroads.
(2) Turn left. Pass all the crossroads until you reach the one with the sign for "Charnier de Bellevue".
(3) Continue straight ahead. At the end, take a tarmac road. Follow the bend to the left, leaving a path opposite. When you reach the railway line, follow it on the right until you reach the level crossing.
(4) Cross the railway line. Then continue straight ahead until you reach the main road (Grande Rue). Go down this road. Follow the bend to the right to reach a crossroads.
(5) Turn left. Cross over a branch of the Savoureuse river. When you reach another road, turn left again, cross the rest of Savoureuse, then leave the houses behind. Stay on the D24 until the bend.
(6) Turn right, then immediately left to enter the woods. This is the start of a long straight section. Keep going until you reach the junction with the sign for "Étang Colin".
(7) Follow the track to the right. From here, follow the track straight ahead through the forest to Éloie.
(8) Go straight ahead onto Rue Sermamagny. At the end, turn left to cross the Rosemontoise and arrive near a large car park. At the end of this car park, there are benches and tables for picnics.
(9) Continue along the road, then turn right onto Rue d'Offemont. After the bend, take the path on the right that climbs up to Piton d'Éloie. You will reach a crossroads at the top.
(10) Keep right, following this "hill". Begin a descent and reach a pond.
(11) Continue along the path to the right of the pond. After a while, the path takes a section over wooden logs.
(12) Continue to go around Piton Lagace. Ignore all paths to the right and left until you reach the ponds.
(13) Do not take the path that runs along the pond on the right, but follow the one on the left. Keep going until you reach the end of the path.
(14) Take the path on the right, which passes between two ponds. Slightly uphill, it approaches the road before moving away from it. Reach the top of a hill in the Arsot Forest.
(15) Descend by taking the path opposite. After a deforested section, you will reach a fork. Turn right at the fork, then take the first right. At the end, turn right and continue to the crossroads near the road.
(16) Take the path that descends along the Route d'Éloie. Then turn left until you reach the D7. Descend the departmental road and, at the roundabout, turn right and then quickly left onto Rue Charles de Gaulle. Immediately on your left, you will pass Rue de l'Étang. Pass a cul-de-sac to reach another crossroads (Allée des Charmilles).
(17) Follow this lane to the left. Then keep right on the path that leads to the Étang des Forges. At the pond, continue to the right to reach the "main lane".
(18) Keep going along the pond. When the pond forms a right angle, stay along it. Turn right at the next street, then left onto Rue Augustre Bussière, and you will reach a Y-shaped fork.
(19) Turn right onto Rue de Marseille. Stay on this street until it ends.
(20) Follow Avenue Jean Moulin to the left. Then turn right towards a large car park, before staying on the left-hand path to return to the banks of the Savoureuse.
(21) Walk down to the river. Turn left, then right to cross the roundabout.
(22) Take Avenue de l'Espérance opposite. At the end, first turn left then right to reach Rue du Quai. Cross the road and continue straight ahead to cut across Place d'Armes.
(23) Pass in front of the cathedral. At the end of the square, turn right and reach Rue Hubert Metzger.
(24) Follow this street to the left. Pass a fork in the road and take the next one on the right. After the Parking de la Révolution Française car park on the left, continue left onto Rue de la République. Then turn right and continue straight ahead to cross the Savoureuse.
(25) Once on the right bank, walk downriver. When you reach the street, continue straight ahead until you reach the bridge. Turn left onto Rue Pierre-Philippe Denfert-Rochereau. Continue straight ahead until you reach Belfort station (E).
