Turn left and follow the path to the base of the dune bordering the beach "Plage de Kermor".
Pathways allow you to climb the dune for an overview of the seafront and then descend to the beach.
Please respect these pathways, as the dune is fragile.
At the large car park on the left, pass a gate and continue along a tarmac section.
Bend right and cross the beach parking lot.
(3) Follow the coastal path over the rocky shoreline to the Pointe de Combrit, where the old artillery is located. You're now at the mouth of the Odet.
(4) Turn left and follow the road to the car park set back from the tip. The car park shown on the IGN map is actually set back. On the left, a path leads to the former fort built by Napoleon III, which now houses exhibitions.
(5) Turn right to go down alongside the lighthouse and join the coastal path up the Odet estuary. On the opposite shore, you can see Bénodet and its long beach. Follow this path to the nautical center, located near a vast grassy esplanade.
(6) Leave the seafront by the street that rises to the left, and turn right into a small passageway that runs between houses, ending up in the street "Rue du Phare", which you follow to the right. Admire the charming Villa Tri Men hotel and reach the chapel.
(7) Go down to the harbour, around the chapel (open to visitors in summer), past the Abri du Marin (sailor's shelter), identifiable by its pink architecture and colour, and up the stairs at the gable of the Café de la Cale. At the intersection, turn right into the street "Rue du Menez", which runs alongside a car park on the right.
(8) Turn left (directional sign) into a shady alleyway that continues into the street "Allée des Chênes". At the junction with the main street leading to Sainte-Marine town, turn right and follow it for about 200m.
(9) Leave the GR®34, cross this road at the crosswalk and take the small road opposite.
