Uphill and straight on where a path joins from the left, right-left kink around the hedge, to top of the hill and start down.

(2) Turn left on the stony bridleway track and go uphill under the power line poles. Join tarmac road and go straight on passing farm road to left. When the track turns sharp right go L and take path across field towards woods, pass to L of a big tree and follow path downhill to ditch/bridge. Keep the woods on your left, and when they end aim uphill towards a group of 3-4 trees. Go past the metal gate and continue with the hedge on your right to the road.

(3) Cross the road and go between the house and the farm buildings. The track goes downhill to cross an old railway bridge and reaches the canal.

(4) At the Admiral Nelson pub go left onto the Grand Union Canal towpath and pass the marina and under the A45.

(5) When you reach twin arched bridges take the canal, turn left signed Birmingham and Oxford and cross bridge 95 to the towpath on the right. Pass some impressive moorings/gardens.

(6) Past bridge 100 the canal starts a series of bends and passes under the Mill Farm road at bridge 102. Continue past large farm sheds at Fields Farm on right.

(7) Leave the canal at bridge 103 and cross over taking the bridleway left along the bottom of the hill. After 2 fields turn right with the hedge on your right towards a big house on the hill, at a yellow post enter a field and go uphill and right to join the hedge at the top of the hill. At the top corner of the field the exit is 20m to the left. Walk to the end of Vicarage Lane.

(8) Turn right past the Village Hall.

(9) By the old water pump and phone box enter a path between hedges and go straight through to the road.
