Description of the walk

After the hamlet of La Magne, continue to the end of the tarmac road and then on a carriage road for 300 m to reach the Tête car park.

(S/E) Go back down the tarmac road until you see the signs for Entrevernes par le Pas de la Cheville near a small barn.

(1) Follow this sign to the right. The path is a little damp, even muddy, due to the large number of Trailers, mountain bikers and hikers.

(2) At Clay, leave the path leading down to Saint-Jorioz on the left and head for Pas de la Cheville. A little higher up, under the rock, the path is secured by cables.

(3) At the Pas de la Cheville, turn right towards the Col de la Cochette. The climb is steady but chaotic due to rocks and roots.

(4) Turn right up to the cross indicating the summit of Entrevernes. You'll have to do a bit of climbing, but it's nothing too serious and is secured by chains. Then descend to the Col de la Cochette.

(5) From the pass, descend to the Tête car park(S/E) on the west side along a steadily sloping path.

A very pleasant walk, with plenty of shade and pretty views. We approached it from a little lower down, from Les Pralets. Accurate description, in line with the terrain.
Many thanks to the contributor and very best wishes for the future!
NB: A tiny typo in the title of point 5.

Beautiful autumn walk with superb views of the lake. It is possible to park on a small median on the bend at the start instead of going up to the car park.
A bit muddy at the start and the short roped sections are short and easy with a bit of concentration.
The only regret is the pylon at the Col de la Cochette... it's better to take a break beforehand near the cross.

this very good description reflects reality very well, the itinerary, the timing, the very muddy path at the start (thanks for the advice to wear high shoes!) and the direction of the loop given is better in my opinion than the other way round as recommended on certain sites like ViAnnecy.
thank you
