Park your vehicle at La Villonnière in the car park at the crossroads next to the weighbridge.
(S/E) Leave the D2E on your left, take the aqueduct road opposite for about 100 metres, then take a path on the left. Follow it down to the "La Chandelle" crossroads, then continue straight ahead.
(1) Before crossing the stream, you can walk up it for about 50 metres to see the remains of the Roman aqueduct. At the bottom of the valley, after the chain blocking the path, turn right and follow the path up the Bozançon stream.
(2) At the confluence of the Bozançons, cross the wooden bridge, pass the barrier with the information panels, cross the bridge and climb up the opposite slope (you will pass at the foot of a viaduct pier). On the plateau, continue straight ahead until you reach the RD668.
(3) Turn right, go up the road for about a hundred metres, then turn left towards Bas Barbieux. Cross this hamlet and follow the path down the hillside.
(4) When you reach Bozançon, do not cross it but continue straight ahead.
(5) Take a barely visible path on the right (see photo) that climbs into the undergrowth, then follow the yellow markings on the tree trunks to continue up the hillside, following the stream on a path that is often very narrow and slippery.
(6) At the top of the valley, the path leads to a good track which you take to the right and follow to the hamlet of Flassieux. Pass the hamlet and continue along the road.
(7) Just after the Savernas junction, turn right onto a path running parallel to the road, which descends to the stream. It climbs up the other side to the RD, which you follow for about a hundred metres.
(8) Climb left towards La Jurière. Continue along the path until you cross the Petit Bozançon. Then take a path on the right that runs along the hillside to the crossroads, where you climb straight up a steep path marked with blue signs towards L'Arzelier.
(9) Alternative: a path descending to the right quickly joins the RD668 and is a shortcut without much elevation gain. Continue straight ahead towards L'Arzelier.
(10) In the hamlet of L'Arzelier, turn right onto a path that descends through the orchards to the RD668. Cross it and continue downhill along the orchards to the old railway line.
(11) Turn left and walk up the track.
(12) Leave the tarmac road on your left and continue straight ahead. The route curves around the waste collection point and arrives near a place called Les Roches.
(13) Continue straight ahead (do not take the path that descends to the right).
(14) Continue along the middle road to reach the car park (S/E).
