A really lovely route that’s best done in summer as there’s very little sand.
In wet weather, some sections are muddy and slippery.
Snow-covered tracks, dirt tracks, winding paths through the woods and a bit of sand at the end.
The route passes near pidgeon hunting huts. Do not use this route during the pidgeon hunting season in October and November. Adhering to this unwritten rule helps to keep the paths open. Mutual respect between hunters, cyclists and walkers.
