Val-de-Saâne was the first ‘communauté de communes’ (inter-municipal association) established in France (1964), formed by the merger of four municipalities: Anglesqueville, Eurville, Thiédeville and Varvannes.
Winner of the first national ‘Village que j’aime’ award in 1969.
Now known as ‘Terroir de Caux’
