The starting point is at Coll de Creu, easily accessible from Matemale. A large car park provides ample parking.
(S/E) Head due south towards Coll del Torn, following the easily identifiable path. After about 500 m, join the forest track.
(1) Continue to the right along this track.
(2) Turn off onto the track on the right to reach the Coll del Torn refuge.
(3) Continue straight ahead. At the junction, leave the cross-country ski trails on your right and take the path directly in front of you.
(4) The path widens; stay on it as you descend into the forest.
(5) Just before the entrance to the village, leave the road and take the signposted path on your left which climbs back up towards the forest.
(6) At the fork, turn right. Continue along this path, which winds its way up a few bends before reaching an open area, then curves to the right and joins the road.
(7) Follow this road downhill: the Rivière de Caudiès on your right is easily accessible if you fancy a dip.
(8) After 200 m, leave the road and take the small path on the left which climbs through the forest towards La Collada.
(9) Continue along this path, which climbs up the valley on your right and joins a track.
(10) Continue along the path to the left.
(11) At Clot d'Avall, leave the track and follow a path on the right which eventually joins the D4.
(12) Cross the road and take the path on the embankment opposite.
(13) Just before reaching the Col du Dragon (Coll del Dragó), turn left up the slope and go through the fence using the designated passage. Follow this path and gradually climb towards the Coll de Creu.
(14) A few metres before reaching the road, turn right into the forest and follow the path through the undergrowth to reach Coll de Creu and the car park (S/E).
