Park in the cemetery car park.
(S/E) Facing the cemetery, head up the street on the right (Rue du Coteau). Pass the first lane on the right, then take Chemin Saint-Antoine on the right (using house no. 22 as a landmark if necessary). Cross Rue des Vignerons and continue straight ahead to join Chemin de la Roche.
(1) Turn left and walk for about twenty metres, then follow the path that starts on the right. This path soon veers to the right, becomes a footpath and eventually leads onto Chemin de Rougeau.
(2) Follow it to the left and head downhill to a road (D465). Cross it and follow the path opposite, going uphill until you reach a small road.
(3) Take this road to the right and you’ll reach a large open area with a boules court and an information board.
(4) Follow the path to the left which leads to the orientation table overlooking Pouilley-les-Vignes.
(5) Retrace your steps.
(4) Follow the grassy path as it continues and head downhill to a road junction. Take the road opposite (D5a) signposted ‘École-Valentin’ – take care!
(6) After about 350 m, follow the path branching off to the left and go through the gate. The path turns almost immediately to the right. Follow it, then turn right (two huge stones block the way for cars). Cross the road and follow the footpath leading to a crossroads at the Croix de Vignole.
(7) Keep to the right and walk up the road (Rue de Vignole) to the old reservoir.
(8) Turn right, then left to visit the caborde.
(9) Retrace your steps.
(8) Walk down Rue de Vignole.
(10) At the crossroads (former town hall/school and fountain), take Rue du Collège, which passes above the church and in front of the town hall. Note the winegrower’s house opposite the town hall and the beautiful old houses. Once at the crossroads, keep to the right to reach the cemetery car park (S/E).
