Access: To park coming from Narbonne, at the entrance to the village, leave the D105 via Rue de l'Aiguille and take the first right. Before the cemetery, there is a field that serves as a car park in summer. If it is closed, you can safely leave your car at the side of the road.
(S/E) Join the D105 towards Narbonne and follow it to the left for about 50 metres. Take the first path on the left through the vineyards that runs alongside the departmental road. Continue straight ahead, ignoring all the paths on the left. Pass the Source de Bajole, marked by a closed well and a large basin. Immediately after, at the wider path, turn left for about 100 metres. Follow the first path on your left, climb the small steep path and arrive at the cross-shaped intersection.
(1) Descend opposite (south-west) via the steep path leading to the small hamlet of Les Pesquis. Pass through the houses, following a wire fence until you reach the tarmac road. Turn left onto Chemin des Coumes.
(2) Leave the paved road on the right and climb the dirt track. At the top, continue to the right where two parallel tracks follow each other for 400 metres. You can admire a magnificent view of the Étangs de Bages and Sigean. Begin the gentle descent to the five-way intersection.
(3) In the middle of the bend, turn right. Follow the track that forms a loop and overlooks a farm below.
(4) Turn left at an acute angle and descend the narrow, overgrown path. Be careful, the slope is steep and cluttered. Continue until you reach a dirt track suitable for vehicles. Continue to the left, then through a pine forest, until you reach a tarmac road, passing in front of the Domaine des Palombières. Follow this road to the left for about 200 m, running alongside large fields.
(5) Take the small path on your left and climb the small ramp in the middle of the pine trees. Be careful, as there are many ruts that could cause you to fall.
(6) At the crossroads, take the widest path marked with a yellow and red trail. At the second S-bend, turn right and follow the small path that climbs slightly. At the top of the hill, you can enjoy a splendid view of the village of Bages overlooking its lake. Catch up with a small path on your left below. It can be difficult to see as there are many mountain bike and motorbike tracks. The path narrows through the broom. Continue to the next intersection.
(7) At the cairn, turn right and descend through the narrow passage. Then, after about 300 metres, turn left; the path climbs slightly until it overlooks the village and joins an intersection.
(8) At the start of the descent, turn right onto a barely visible path which, first through broom and then through vineyards, will take you back to the starting point (S/E).
