The starting point is the car park at the "Ferme de La Forêt", which can be reached from the village of Jussy by taking a small tarmac road on the right before the water tower.
(S/E) Go around the farm on the left, following the yellow markings, then continue straight on for 200 metres until you come to a bridle path.
(1) Turn left and continue straight ahead until you reach the village of Moniaz.
(2) When you reach the district road, follow it to the right for 25 metres and then immediately turn left onto Chemin des Arales. Follow this path to the hamlet of the same name.
(3) Just before the first house, turn left onto the path that runs along the edge of the forest. After 300 metres, follow the wide path on the right that enters the nature reserve. After a wide left-hand bend, continue for about 500 metres.
(4) Turn left, ignoring the signs, onto a good path which you will follow straight ahead for about 2 km through the Bois de l'Étang. Join the Jussy-Moniaz cantonal road.
:5:: Follow this road to the left for about 200 m before crossing it and taking a path on the right. After 200 m, turn left at the T-junction onto a beautiful forest lane.
(6) Then take the path on the right, at a 90° angle, which will take you back to the La Forêt path.
(7) Turn left and continue to the car park and the starting point (S/E).
